Community Police Officers

Scott Curran

Constable

Hi there, I am PC Scott Curran and I am delighted to be taking on the role of Community Police Officer for Bothwell and Uddingston.

Prior to joining the Community Policing team, I served 6 years as a Response Police Officer working across the Lanark, Larkhall and Hamilton offices. This provided me with a unique experience working in and around different communities and enabled me to develop a policing style that caters for all.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time on response where no two days were the same. It was always fast paced and exciting however, there was never much time for public engagement.

It is an important part of my new role to get my face out there and be a visible part of the community so if you see me, please don’t hesitate to stop and say hello.

I am aware of ongoing issues raised surrounding anti-social behaviour and motoring complaints. These are issues I hope to tackle to the best of my ability in the coming months. Hopefully with the support of fellow community members such as yourselves we can work together to resolve any problems and provide a safer community for all.

Should you have any concerns affecting your neighbourhood please contact Police Scotland on 101 (999 in emergencies).

Christopher Ross

Constable

Hello, I am PC Chris Ross. I am delighted to be the new Community Police Officer for Uddingston and Bothwell.

I have been a serving police officer in a Response Policing capacity for almost 8 years, covering Coatbridge and Airdrie, this being a very busy sub-division, presenting officers with a diverse array of community issues. During my time there, I identified many of these issues and was instrumental in tackling and rectifying anti-social behaviour and anti-social driving within the area.

I am excited to be commencing the next phase of my career and providing a high standard of Police Service to the Uddingston and Bothwell communities.

I have been made aware of several issues involving anti-social behaviour, parking and speeding throughout the local area. These are all issues I intend to tackle, all the while building and nurturing a positive relationship with the community.

I always enjoy a wee chat so when you see me out and about, please be sure to stop and say hi.

Should you have any concerns affecting your neighbourhood please contact Police Scotland on 101 (999 in emergencies).
